Our story

A second life for everyday things — and a second chance for our community.

Seconds 4 Good began as a small thrift initiative in Grassy Park, Cape Town. We collect donated clothing, shoes, bags and homeware, lovingly sort them, and offer them at prices our community can afford.

Volunteers sorting donations

Affordability

Quality clothing should be reachable for everyone. Every price is set with the neighbourhood in mind.

Sustainability

Each second-hand find keeps textile waste out of landfill — and out of the ocean.

Community

Proceeds and stock support local families, schools and outreach in Grassy Park.

Why we built the digital hub

For years, our biggest challenge wasn't stock — it was visibility. Customers told us they wanted to see what was in store before making the trip.

So we built a simple digital storefront. Daily uploads, WhatsApp reservations, social media drops, and a QR code that fits in your pocket. No expensive apps, no complicated systems — just easier shopping for our community.

The result: less frustration, more trust, and more people walking through our door.
